Ken Marcotte was the second generation owner Prince Enameling, which was opened in 1953. In the early ‘90’s there was a decrease in interest for hard fired cloisonné enamel and an upswing in interest for decorative epoxy resin. Ken and his wife, Linda, learned how to apply the epoxy into the same pieces they were previously applying enamel into. After trial and error they perfected the process and opened New England Colors in 1992.

Today, New England Colors is co-owned and operated by their daughter, Alicia Hunt. She supervises a highly skilled team of employees with years of experience in decorative epoxy application, enamel application, epoxy grinding, and precision polishing. We strive for perfection with every job. We understand that every job is unique and requires different handling. We are happy to work closely with each customer to meet their specific needs.
